How Much Does an Average College Coach Work Per Week

On average, college football coaches work 75 hours and spend 14 hours watching film as a staff and 7 hours recruiting per week. But coaches working hours range wildly from 40-115 hour per week. 

FCS coaches tend to work the longest hours while D3 coaches spend the most time in-season on recruiting.  

Position coaches and coordinators spend the most time recruiting in-season (about 10 hours/week). While GA’s and quality control coaches spend the least.
